Jogger is like Frogger except in VR and you’re being chased by aliens in UFOs with freakin’ laser beams attached to them.
Normally, to achieve this kind of motion-controlled gaming, you’d either need controllers Nintendo’s Wii Remotes or Sony’s Move controllers, for instance or some kind of visual sensor like Microsoft’s Kinect.
But Jogger uses just the motion of you jogging in place as the Oculus/Samsung’s GearVR headset bounces up and down to use as input for your forward momentum. Of course, you could probably cheat and shake the headset/your head up and down rapidly to go even faster than the entire weight of your body could move, but where’s the fun in that?
Just look at how much fun she’s having!
Plus, you’d be ruining all the potential fitness possibilities. Imagine playing this on a treadmill or bike.
